It’s a coincidence you decided to post about side businesses through vending machines because no more than 2 days ago, I was suggesting something similar to a friend. The only difference is, my idea was about buying a food truck and hiring someone to run it and although it may not seem like a huge money-making idea, I know of restaurants that started out that way and quickly grew enough to afford a proper, permanent location. Of course, the only problem with my idea was in the area of accountability. What guarantee do we have that the person we hire will be an honest worker? But in the case of vending machines, that is all taken care of.

I have also thought about starting a food truck before. I think vending machines may be an even easier route. Seeing that they are automated machines and as you put it have less accountability. I’d assume you would also be able to purchase more than one vending machine for the price it cost for a food truck.

That is true, also, at the same time, there’s an operating cost involved in a food truck. but the biggest differentiator is the time you need to spend on a food truck. You can have 100 vending machines working for you while you can work on your food truck.
