But I ended up making it look more worse. So to avoid further damage, I visited nearest Sai Service Showroom.
Now no more being self mechanic.

One guy pulled my battery out sideways tipping it.
Same car 2007 Chevy Impala. A different guy pulled the battery straight up without tipping with a few turns. He’s a smart one.

My husband’s truck needs some repairs to its electrical components before he can start using it for his work again later this year. The tips you shared here should be helpful when he shops for the trunk parts he needs!

Have some knowledge about batteries can maintain your car a lot. In general, a battery will last from 4 to 6 years. In case you want to replace it, doing it yourself can save a lot of money. Just need a basic set of tools, remove the replace the cables. Remember to remove the black cable first, and replace the negative cable last. Get more instruction online. Hope you to do it successfully.

I have done a number of car/truck repair of which I had virtually little idea how before I started. After watching numerous you tube videos I was able to do a lot of them and saved a ton of money. I have learned through my research that garages often use parts that are inferior to what you can buy on line yet are priced by the garage at 2-3 times what the good quality parts cost.. Many shops state that dont install customer supplied parts and the reason is very evident because they mark up the parts so much. After watching a number of videos on a particular task I was able to do it myself and incorporate ideas from several videos to tailor my own way of doing the project. As you do you also learn and the next time the task is much much easier and takes less time. I have also watched videos on a certain repair which I passed on as it was evident that a professional mechanic was needed who had specialized tools and training.
